About this website
This policy explains how MAMBO handles information through https://mambotruck.com, including Google Analytics, chat, and the Quote Builder.
Information you choose to provide when requesting catering, using the Quote Builder, or contacting us is used to respond to your request and support the related quote or service.
Google Analytics on public pages
When our website measurement switch is on, Google Analytics can start on eligible public pages without waiting for you to select an option in the Analytics preferences panel. A valid choice to turn off Analytics in this browser prevents this implementation from starting new Analytics measurement here. If the website switch is off or the preference cannot be read reliably, this implementation keeps Analytics off.
Google is the Analytics provider. Analytics helps us understand which public pages people use, how they arrive at the website, and whether they open the Quote Builder or chat, or select phone or text-message links. Selecting a phone or text link does not tell us that a call was completed or a message was sent.
When it runs, Google Analytics may use cookies and technical identifiers and generate technical measurement events. Our application supplies approved public page information, controlled interaction labels, and approved referral or campaign information. We configure application events with canonical page addresses without query strings or URL fragments. The Google tag runs in your browser and can access browser context; we cannot guarantee that every request it initiates excludes all URL information.
This implementation does not send customer email addresses, phone numbers, quote contents, guest counts, event dates, CRM identifiers, or Quote Builder identifiers to Google Analytics. It does not use Google Analytics User-ID, enhanced conversions, or joins with customer records in our CRM. It does not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization, or create new advertising integrations.
The Google Analytics property’s user-data and event-data retention settings are two months. These settings apply to Google Analytics and do not set the retention period for records held by our chat, quote, or customer-service systems.
Your Analytics preference
You can turn Analytics off for this browser and continue using the website. You can also turn it back on. The website stores an explicit choice in your browser for 180 days from your decision; browsing does not extend that period. After an explicit turn-off choice expires, Analytics may start again while the website measurement switch is on. If preference storage is unreadable, this implementation keeps Analytics off.
On eligible public pages, use “Analytics / Privacy preferences” to review the current state or select “Turn off Analytics.” Turning it off stops future application measurement through this implementation, disables its Analytics destination, and removes Analytics cookies owned by this implementation where applicable. It cannot recall requests already initiated or erase information already received by Google.
Your choice is stored in that browser. Another browser or device may have a different preference.
Chat, attribution, and Quote Builder services
The website also uses existing HighLevel/LeadConnector chat and attribution services and a separate Quote Builder supported by Google Apps Script. These components can process technical information, browser storage, session or submission identifiers, referral information, and information you choose to submit, for their chat, attribution, quote-processing, and diagnostic functions.
These services are separate from the Google Analytics preference. They may operate whether Analytics is on or turned off in this browser. Turning off Analytics does not disable them or remove their stored information. Their customer, quote, and technical information is not joined to Google Analytics under this implementation.
When you type an event address in the Quote Builder, the text you enter is sent to Google Maps Platform (Places) to suggest matching addresses. Google processes it under its own privacy policy.
Text messages (SMS)
Text messages from MAMBO are sent by Maclen Magnuson LLC, doing business as Mambo Truck and Mambo Catering, from (385) 800-1155. We send two types of text messages, and each needs its own consent.
Customer-care texts. If you agree to receive texts about your catering request, we may text you at the mobile number you provide about your quote, event details, scheduling and availability, booking and payment status (including invoices, payment links and payment receipts), reminders, day-of-event logistics, follow-up after your event (including review or feedback requests), and replies to messages you send us. Some replies may be automated or written with the help of an AI assistant.
Marketing texts (optional). We send promotional texts, such as offers, promotions, new menus or trucks, seasonal events and newsletters, only if you give separate, express written consent, for example by checking a separate, unchecked marketing text box on our website form. Agreeing to customer-care texts does not sign you up for marketing texts, and consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Marketing texts may be sent using automated technology. We do not send marketing texts between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am in your local time.
How you agree. We text you only after you give consent: by checking a text-message box on our Quote Builder or another website form, by texting us first, or by telling us directly that we may text you. Texting us first or telling us by phone covers customer-care texts only, not marketing texts. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving all texts from us. We will send one message confirming that you’ve been unsubscribed and will not text you again unless you opt back in by replying START. You can also opt out by any other reasonable means, for example by replying “cancel,” “unsubscribe,” “quit” or “end,” or by telling us by phone or email, and we honor it promptly. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (385) 800-1155 or events@mambotruck.com.
Your mobile information is not shared. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share information only with service providers that help us operate our messaging, such as our customer-messaging platform (HighLevel/LeadConnector) and the telecommunications carriers that deliver messages, and only to send the messages you asked for, or when the law requires it.
What we keep. When you opt in or out of either type of text, we keep a record of your mobile number, which type of texts you agreed to, the date and time, how you agreed (for example, the website form and the exact consent wording shown), and your message history, so we can honor your choices and show our compliance. We keep consent and opt-out records for 5 years after your last interaction with us.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
For the full terms of our text-message program, see our Terms.
WordPress accounts and embedded services
WordPress uses cookies for authorized account login, screen preferences, and editing functions. A password-reset request may include the requester’s IP address in the reset email.
Content or services supplied by another provider may make requests to that provider and use its own cookies or browser storage. The Analytics preference described above governs this Google Analytics implementation; it does not control every embedded service or every request made by this website.
Questions and updates
